Mother’s Day is a few weeks away and I’ve got my gift list ready! Let’s hope my husband really reads this blog like he claims he does. With gift ideas ranging from $15 to $500, this list has plenty of great options.
1. Kate Spade New York ‘Cedar Street – Monday’ Crossbody Bag $148
I had this on my list for Christmas, but since I didn’t get it, here it is again (ahem!). Small and sleek–just what I need when I’m running errands or hitting the amusement parks this summer.
2. Deborah Lippman ’80 Rewind Collection $18
With totally awesome colors like Don’t Stop Believin’, Whip It, Maniac, She Drives Me Crazy and Walking On Sunshine, this color ode to the 80’s takes me back to sleepovers, acid washed anything, big hair, and when MTV actually showed music videos!
4. Diva Correspondence Cards with Personalized Envelopes $50-$60
At the risk of sounding old-fashioned, I still enjoy mailing a beautiful handwritten note as much as I like receiving one. With these stylish personalized cards, I’ll be corresponding in class.
5. Pimp My Ride
Ok, maybe just wash it. Really good. Inside and out. And fill up the tank:)
6. Flowers of the Month $129.98-$499.98
I’d much rather receive flowers “just because” than on a holiday. With Flowers of the Month, getting a scheduled flower delivery each month for three, six or twelve months would certainly keep a smile on my face.
7. The Shoe Book $50
With contributions by Manolo Blahnik, Bruno Frisoni, Christian Louboutin, and Sarah Jessica Parker, The Shoe Book explores the style evolution of shoes. I’m thinking the fabulous photos in this book will either temporary satisfy my temptation to buy more shoes or send me into a buying frenzy…
8. Letters To My Future Self $14.95
This is a great way to sort of create my own time capsule. The set includes twelve fold and mail letters with a thoughtful prompt that encourages self-reflection.

9. MAC Playland Collection $15-$21
I’ll take anything from this playful collection of bright and brilliant colors!
10. An Overnight Stay
An overnight stay at a nice hotel would give me some much needed alone time. I would order room service, watch a movie that isn’t animated, visit the spa, write, and enjoy a good book and the pile of magazines that I never have time to read.
