It’s been almost 3 years and I can’t believe I’m just posting this party! Every girl wants a princess party and this was Journey’s biggest bash to date. It was one of the best (and hardest) parties I’ve ever planned because it was the first time that I attempted to make so many of the decorations. It took me months to finish it all, but everything turned out fabulous! Continue reading →
It’s hard to believe, but it’s almost Valentine’s Day already! Rather than send your kids to schools armed with pre-printed cards for classmates, why not let them make their own? Or better yet, invite a few friends over and host a Valentine’s Day Crafternoon. Continue reading →

Monday is the first day of the long winter break. While I love spending this extra time with Journey, keeping her busy can be quite challenging. So this year, we are going to use the break to learn more about our family—and have some fun along the way. I’m sharing our project so that you can do it too!
Since the recipe for my Sweet Potato Cornbread was such a big hit, I thought I’d post the recipe for my Sweet Potato Biscuits. These sweet buttery biscuits are a great alternative to the usual dinner rolls and perfect for breakfast or brunch as well. You can even save some time by making them in advance.
The folks over at Brilliant Earth asked me to participate in their Signature Piece Challenge. The challenge was to create a fashion board around one of their fabulous vintage cocktail rings. They are all so gorgeous, it was hard choosing just one.
